"It came from the audience's reactions. I just freak out their minds,

| "CA talks about The Loyal" |
"His admirers, known as The Loyal, are "incredibly loyal...so much so that it blows
me away. You can see their fan sites and chat rooms on the Internet. They have created a bunch of
crazy items...gifts I've received: from dolls to magnets and mouse pads. They really want to perpetuate me
everywhere. It's quite flattering." |

| CA talks about creating his art & about David Blaine |
"Angel, he says. "I like to have my hand in everything on my TV specials. I'm the
executive producer; I direct it; I create it. I write all the music for my TV special and my live performance. It's
on my label. I write it; I produce it.
"Having that control means I do things on a smaller level, and as I do things on a smaller level, they gain a lot
of momentum and become larger and larger. For me, it's not about bubblegum or about being on television, who I'm
dating, what my personal life is. It's about my art."
And it's about going toe-to-toe with his rival. "It's about innovating and creating new ideas," Angel says. "That's
why it's so important for Blaine to face me. At the end of the day, the public would love to see it. It would elevate
the art form. Just like a sporting event, a boxing match or whatever, it really brings out the best in both parties.
"Anytime, anywhere, any challenge -- I'm prepared for him. It's insignificant to me [what it is] because, at the end
of the day, I'll be the one who wins. There's no way I would lose. It's absolutely impossible." |

| What Criss had to say about performing magic solely for money. |
"No one should do it for the money. That is the wrong motivation.
Happiness for me, is not measured by money, once you don't care about it - it comes to you. Most of the time, what
keeps people from fulfilling their dream is themselves. Passion, perseverance and common sense is the key - the money
will come!" |

| Criss talks candidly about his father’s struggle & how his inspiration
still reaches out Criss. |
"His father, Angel explained, showed him how to face some of his fears when
his father was diagnosed with cancer and given three weeks to live.
"He was such a strong-willed person," Angel began, "that he didn't care what the doctors said. He had his own vision
that he was going to live and see his grandkids born. He was going to enjoy his life to its fullest. He would take the
negativity and turn it into something that produced positive results. And his results were that he lived for over three
years.
"The sheer will of his wanting to live -- and his mind, body and spirit working as one -- demonstrated something that
people thought was impossible," Angel said. "And, compared to what he did with his situation, what I did with fishhooks
is nothing.
"And, even though he lived with his situation every day, he found a way to put a smile on his face, be positive and
say, 'Oh, I have today. I'm going to make the most of it and let my day effect other people in a very positive way.'"
Angel continues his father's legacy of making the most of every day. He performs "Mindfreak," which he wrote, produced,
directed and composed, 10 times a week. In August, the Long Island native and resident will be attempting another feat
that will test his physical endurance: submerging himself upside down for three days in a 6-foot-tall water-torture
cell. Then, in October, he plans on being suspended upside down in a straitjacket, 10 stories above the streets of
Manhattan." |

"A couple of music videos we'd done will ironically be included on a
new DVD I have coming out titled 'Criss Angel: Evolution'. It's actually 1 of 6 DVDs coming out in 2004 on APITRAG
Records focusing on my roots and earlier years. Those years really provided me the opportunity to evolve and try
out various concepts, fusing original music, creatures and the art of illusion." |
