Why are you doing this "Body Suspension" stunt?

To demonstrate the power of the mind, body and spirit
when they work
as one. Today, people are so caught up with technology, they over look
the most
powerful computer "The Human Brain."

Is this a trick, an optical illusion, you are not really putting
hooks through
your skin are you?
|

CA: |
The lines of reality and illusion will be blurred and I'll leave
it up to each
individual to come away with their own conclusion. Everyone can
witness
it for themselves live in the heart of Time Square at the
WWF
(Broadway / 43 rd) starting at 8 am on Wednesday, February 20, 2002.

There must be some place in your mind you go to get away from the
fear of your skin ripping off,
describe that for us people who would
never even think of this as a stunt or something.

CA: |
I'm very focused on my objective and I don't allow negativity to
run through my mind - that's the recipe for failure.
|
|

What did you do to prepare for the Body Suspension?
|
|
CA: |
Mentally - Just kept focus on my objective. Physically - Kept my sugar
up, trained
(lost 5 lbs. - so my skin would stretch more).
|
|

Besides publicity, there must be some benefit to yourself, what is
it?
Do you disassociate from yourself while doing this?
|
|
CA: |
I like to push my own envelope. My journey's in which I was most
vulnerable have produced my best art.
I definitely am in a different state
of mind, I do NOT use any pain killers of any kind and or aspirins to
help alleviate
any pain produced by the fish hook piercing or hanging.

What is the biggest fear about this?

CA: |
I don't fear anything in life. What is fear? A state of mind! But
in death, my only fear is God!
|

What is the most you hope to achieve from this?
|
|
CA: |
Human and artistic growth and reinforcing the fundamental fact
that anything is possible when you are committed.
